Trimaj Cube LR (which stands for Left and Right) has 8 cubes which have dowel pins attached on the left and right sides (not top and bottom). This leaves each piece with three finished sides that have no holes or pins. The 8 squares must be connected to make a 2×2 cube. Can you find the configuration which will connect the pieces so that no holes or pins are showing?
