The box is made with superior craftsmanship and solidly built, weighing in around 1.5 lbs. Sides and top are maple. The bottom is laminate floorboard which provides scratch resistance and maximum structural durability.
Its challenging to open unless you know the secret, in which case it can be done in seconds. Great fun! All of the Hurricane boxes as well as the Belle Box are the same solution.
